WHAT: The Sydney Film Festival is one of the longest running events of its kind in the world. Each year the festival brings the best new films from around the world to Sydney audiences. For the first time in 2012, Sydney Film Festival Hub at Lower Town Hall throws open its doors to all with free exhibitions, screenings, talks, parties, live music, performances and DJs. Just a short stroll from the festival’s major venues, the Hub is a hive of activity that makes meeting up with fellow festival-goers a real pleasure.
WHY: Sydney Film Festival needed a central space where film lovers can meet, talk about the films they’ve seen and experience the Festival as insiders. The Hub is an important interface between international filmmakers, local audiences and the Australian film industry.
WHO: Sydney Film Festival visitors and fans of Sydney’s cultural nightlife.
WHEN: Every night from 5pm to 10pm, 7-16 June, and 2pm to 6pm 17 June.
WHERE: Lower Town Hall, 483 George St, Sydney
