Dir: Rob Sitch, 1997 - 101 min
3 Highview Crescent may sit on a toxic landfill, next to the constant hum of power lines and on the landing path of an airport… but the Kerrigan family firmly believe a man’s home is his castle. So when the authorities threaten to take it away from them, they fight tooth and nail to preserve their little patch of happiness.
Served by wonderful actors – including Michael Caton, Sophie Lee and Eric Bana, Rob Sitch’s comedy is an uplifting romp which will have you rolling down the aisles with laughter. The winner of the AFI Award for Best Screenplay in 1997, The Castle was a massive hit both with critics and at the box-office. A decade later, its unique brand of humour resonates just as strongly.
Director : Louise Alston, 2008 - 76 min
Anthea (Charlotte Gregg) is 25, single, hates her office job – and all her friends are leaving Brisbane. Should she follow the herd to Sydney or London? Is there anything worth staying for now that her best friend Michael (Matt Zeremes) finally has a girlfriend and things are over with ex-boyfriend Jake (Gyton Grantley)?
This is a smart and witty romantic comedy everyone can relate to. A film about navigating the no-man’s-land between university and settling down, about deciding where and who you want to be in life.

Director : Jasmine Yuen-Carruncan 2008 - 90 min
To gain some much needed cash John Kelly (Travis McMahon) accepts a job to kidnap and deliver professional gambler Eli Jones (David Lyons) to his keepers in the Australian outback: No questions asked. The kidnapping is meticulously planned, but the road John chooses takes him on a dark journey where every choice has tragic consequences.
Jasmine Yuen-Carrucan’s road movie is a tense, suspenseful thriller which will have you gripping your seat from the opening scene. Bryan Brown (Australia) and Shane Jacobson (Kenny) round out the great cast, making short but unforgettable appearances.
