The Festivalists is a Sydney-based non-profit company founded in 2005. Our team is dedicated to the production, programming and marketing of unique events.
We bring together artists, unusual spaces and new ideas to create stimulating, interactive cultural experiences. From accessible film festivals to parties in iconic venues, our mission is to infuse culture with fun, and develop local audiences for Australian and international artists.
Do you need a unique event organized for your clients or audiences? Would you like to bring your campaign to new markets through event-based promotions or sponsorship? Are you after advice on funding, structuring, curating or promoting your events or programs? Give us a shout!
Our film festivals include Possible Worlds (9th US & Canadian Film Festival), Young at Heart (10th Seniors Film Festival), Windows on Europe and Access All Areas (a film festival made accessible to people with a disability).
Our events include Jurassic Lounge at the Australian Museum, Hijinks at Sea Life Sydney Aquarium, the Sydney Film Festival Hub (2012-14), Mayhem at Sydney Living Museums, Youth Week in the City (2014), Movie Club at the Museum of Sydney, Courtyard Sessions at the Seymour Centre, the Musica Viva Festival, and two World Movie Secret Cinema events (Sydney 2013 and Melbourne 2013).
