The Festivalists is a Sydney-based non-profit company founded in 2005. Our team is dedicated to the production, programming and marketing of unique events.
We bring together artists, unusual spaces and new ideas to create stimulating, interactive cultural experiences. From accessible film festivals to parties in iconic venues, our mission is to infuse culture with fun, and develop local audiences for Australian and international artists.

Access All Areas: an accessible showcase of new Australian films for people with a disability, in Sydney, Western Sydney, Regional NSW and nationally (5th edition Nov 2012)
Kino Sydney: monthly open-mic short film event where films are made specifically for the night (over 55 events since 2006)
Kino Kabaret: annual filmmaking workshop in which 90 participants make and show 60 short films (7th edition Nov 2012)

Jurassic Lounge: acclaimed after-hours party and showcase for emerging Sydney artists, attracting up to 2,000 18-35s to the Australian Museum each Tuesday night (4th 10-week season Aug-Oct 2012)
Sydney Film Festival Hub: a pop-up bar augmented with free screenings, talks, music, live performances and parties in Lower Town Hall as part of Sydney Film Festival (1st edition June 2012)
